Study Freely, Improve Greatly

   I came to Amio after my graduation from Middle school for the first time. At that
time, my English was not very good, especially spoken English. So that sounded int-
eresting when the teacher started to talk with me in English. I was so nervous that I
could not say any words, although that was just a very easy question.

   The education in Amio is very free. Students in the class can talkfreely about one
topic, but they must speak English. In Amio, teachers don’t just teach grammar,
but find some interesting topics to talk with you. That’s really amazing.

   At first, I just sat there and saw other students talking because of my poor English.
So every day I studied the courseware provided by Amio to improve my English. First,
I tried to und-erstand the paragraphs, and then I followed to speak out each sentence
again and again until I can speak the whole passage fluently. After many practices, I
could talk with some students in English. In fact, at the beginning, I was afraid to talk
in English because I was worried about my speaking. My teacher told me to be
brave, because nobody will laugh at you even though you speak incorrectly. 

   So far, I have studied in Amio for about 7 months. During this time, my teacher and
many good friends I make here help me to improve my English. Without their help, I
can’t improve so much.
